HELP: My DS708 will not talk to Chrysler Trucks anymore

    My DS708 will not talk to Chrysler Trucks anymore. I updated it yesterday, but it still wont work. has unidentified control unit variant error message, ID:09120e0e

    I had the same problem on a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2000, was only working in OBD2 mode. I had the same problem with many Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep older models, 2003 and below...

    By the way, with version 4.10, maybe the version 5 will work? but I have problems running it.

    Reply to 4 floor: Only OBDII works on Dodge and Chrysler, cant talk to ABS or anything else, updated to the latest version but still no good, anyone have a fix for this yet?

    Just bought the Maxidas. Will not talk to my 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.2l 46re automatic. does get into abs. will not talk to ecm or tcm.

    Hi every body, make sure you are using the chrysler adapter the black one some times the adapter does not come with the scanner has to be purchace , you will not be able to communicate with many diiferent modules depending on year make and models and one more thing software verssing 6.0 has fix most of the issues if not all and one more thing check for high voltage on the data line you could have a bad module not letting you connect with other modules in the same data line hope this helps you. good day

    ps about unidentified control unit variant error message, ID:09120e0e that is a bad pcm replace the pcm write the vin number to the replacing pcm with the immobilizer disconnected done good luck.
